American Football have announced their fourth album.
The Illinois emo band will release 'LP4' through Polyvinyl on May 1, following up their 2019 album 'LP3' and their 2016 sophomore release 'LP2'.
The band announced the record on social media, sharing its apocalyptic, red-tinted cover art. Further details, including new music, are yet to be revealed.
The news follows American Football's recently announced 2026 tour dates across North America, Europe, and the UK, including stops at the O2 Academy Leeds on June 26 and London's O2 Forum Kentish Town on June 27. Tickets are on sale now.
The tour marks the band's first major outing since 2024's remastered edition of their 1999 self-titled LP and a covers edition featuring its tracks recorded by a range of acts. They also released their first live record, 'American Football (Live in Los Angeles)', last year.
