Tony Parker revealed that ASVEL is in advanced talks with four US investment funds as the club aims to join NBA Europe.

"I've had visits from four very large U.S. funds," he explained to L'Equipe. Because of confidentiality agreements, he declined to share financial details.
He also made his position clear about the NBA coming to Europe. "The NBA will come no matter what."
The ASVEL president is convinced that the NBA will establish a long-term presence in Europe. His goal is to make sure the Lyon–based club is part of the 12 permanent cities expected to be selected.
There are no guarantees at this stage. "None at all," Parker said when asked about ASVEL's chances of being chosen. The club must submit its full application by the end of March.

The interest is tied to Lyon's market potential and the possibility of building around NBA Europe. Talks are said to be advanced.
According to Parker, the funds want him to remain deeply involved in the club long term. "The funds would really like me to stay for the very long term."
The NBA could announce the first selected franchises in May or June, with a projected launch in September 2027.
