Estevao Willian’s first season at Chelsea is probably going better than most people would have expected.
Estevao arrived at Chelsea as an 18-year-old with a very slim build and had never played outside of Brazil.
There were doubts as to whether the winger would be able to adapt to the Premier League, yet it has not been a problem for him.

Estevao Willian says he’s become more skilful at Chelsea
Estevao is convinced that he is improving at Stamford Bridge and has thanked Chelsea for his rapid development.
The winger feels he has become more skilful since joining the club from Palmeiras, for example.
In an exclusive interview with Chelsea’s official club website, Estevao said: “Chelsea have given me everything I need to keep evolving. Every day, I feel stronger, more skilful, more agile and quicker — I’m very happy.”
He has been so impressive this season that former Chelsea defender Jason Cundy has even claimed that he would take Estevao over Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka.

In total, Estevao has scored seven goals and provided three assists in 32 appearances. Ten goal contributions at his young age is not a bad return at all, especially considering that this is his first campaign in England.

Estevao Willian ranks highly for dribbles
Estevao’s skill can be seen in his dribbling. The Brazilian has really excelled in that area this term.
According to FotMob, Estevao is completing 3.15 successful dribbles per 90 minutes, which is one of the highest averages in the Premier League.

All in all, Estevao has brought a real Samba flair to Stamford Bridge, and Chelsea fans absolutely love it.
Supporters have quickly given Estevao a nickname, “Stevo”, taking to the Brazil international almost instantly. Other than Palmer, there may not be a more popular player at Chelsea.
The scary thing is Estevao is only going to get better. He does not turn 19 until April. Estevao is such a young player but is already performing at the highest level.
