Myles Garrett just wrapped his impressive individual defensive season in NFL history. The Cleveland Browns defensive end broke the NFL’s single-season sack record with 23 in 2025, topping the 22.5 mark shared by T.J. Watt and Michael Strahan.
Despite Brown’s lackluster 5-12 record, he walked away with his second Defensive Player of the Year award, perfectly showcasing why the Browns gave him a four-year, $160 million extension with $123.5 million guaranteed. On the field, Garrett is untouchable.
Off the field, his relationship with Olympic snowboarder Chloe Kim has kept him in the spotlight throughout the NFL offseason. A viral social media post recently circulated, claiming the pair were engaged and urging fans to offer their congratulations.
However, many followers identified the post as a deceptive scheme and chose not to fall for the false rumors.
Is Myles Garrett reportedly engaged to Olympic icon Chloe Kim?
Fresh off his record-breaking 2025 campaign, Garrett spent part of his offseason in Milan, Italy, trackside at the Milan Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics.

He traveled to Livigno Snow Park wearing a custom zip-up jacket with Kim’s face printed on it, snapping photos courtside with a long lens as she posted backside 720s and double corks in the women’s halfpipe final.
Kim ultimately won silver, making her the first athlete to medal in three consecutive Olympic halfpipe events. Garrett was there for every run.
Days later,Kim showed off her playful side on Valentine’s Day, gifting Garrett a black shirt with gold lettering on the back: “I ♥ MY SUPER HOT BEAUTIFUL GIRLFRIEND SO PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM ME.”
That moment was cute enough, but the internet quickly took it a step further. Someone used it as a template, adding a photoshopped image of the sports power couple with an engagement ring still in its box, and packaged it as an official announcement.

Despite having zero sourcing and no backing from credible outlets, the claim spread rapidly enough for Cleveland Sports Talk to amplify it to their followers. That was the point where skeptical fans finally drew the line and began debunking the rumor.
Fans weren’t buying Myles Garrett’s fake engagement rumor
The NFL community rejected the rumor firsthand with some bold takes.
One fanwrotebluntly, “Nah, he isn’t gonna put a ring before virginity check.”
Another pointed to the photo itself as proof the whole thing was fabricated, penning, “How does she have a ring on her finger and it’s still in the box — bad fake.”
Three more piled on in quick succession — “Fake information,” “This is fake !!” and “I think it’s fake…”
The engagement report lacked any real substance. Ironically, the image of the ring still sitting in its box told the whole story; had the proposal been legitimate, the ring would have been on Kim’s finger for her to flaunt. This oversight by the hoaxers made it easy for fans to dismiss the rumor as a fabrication.
