Milwaukee Bucks injury report still list Giannis Antetokounmpo in team’s 1st game since…

The Milwaukee Bucks are set to resume regular season play now that the NBA All-Star Break is over. At 23-30, they have climbed back up to 11th in the Eastern Conference. They sit 1.5 games behind the Charlotte Hornets for 10th, which is the final seed to qualify for the NBA play-in tournament. Indeed, finishing the first half of the season winning five of six games has put some life back into the team and kindled a bit of hope among their fans.

On Friday night, they will kickoff the second part of the season with a road game against the New Orleans Pelicans. While Milwaukee is still fighting for its playoff life, New Orleans is 15-41 and well out of contention in the Western Conference.

Unfortunately, the Bucks injury report indicates that, despite the break, Milwaukee is not fully healthy yet.

One of the reasons the Bucks have struggled so much this year has been the injuries suffered by Giannis Antetokounmpo. He previously missed nearly a month of the season with a calf injury, and was out for weeks prior to the All-Star Break with another one.

The hope, of course, was that Giannis would be healthy again after the All-Star Break. And while he told reporters during the break that he was feeling good to go, he admitted that he still needed to be cleared by the team doctors.

And that hasn’t happened yet.
