The top concerns in my community are aggressive ICE enforcement and threats to civil liberties, along with challenges around health care, cost of living, housing affordability, child care costs and rising property taxes. My approach is to protect residents’ rights, expand health care access, secure housing stability and invest in affordable housing while promoting home ownership. The key to making these policies viable is instituting fair taxation policies that close corporate loopholes and do not disproportionately burden working families.
