The Atlanta Falcons did not have a good 2025 NFL season, with a disappointing 8-9 record in the regular season, and missing the playoffs yet again. The team has not made it to the postseason since the 2017 season, and are considered among the most unsuccessful teams in the league.
Their fans have not experienced much success from the franchise at all on the field, but it looks like the fanbase themselves have not had much success off it.
Stat reveals Falcons fanbase with highest percentage of single fans
According to a new study by Vegas Insider, the Falcons fanbase has the most single fans by percentage out of all other fanbases in the league. The study surveyed 3,058 NFL fans nationwide, and determined this result.

More specifically, around 38% of Falcons fans reported being single in their love lives, which was the highest percentage compared to the other 31 NFL teams. The nearest fanbases were at 35% with the New York Giants and Houston Texans both sharing it. Indianapolis Colts fans were the least single at around 11%.
The same study also found out that 17% of Falcons fans are divorced, which was the third-highest divorce rate out of all fanbases after the Cincinnati Bengals and the Los Angeles Rams. Only 30% of their fanbase was married which was among the lowest marriage rates by fanbase in the study, and 9% reported living with their partners while being unmarried. The study seems to correlate relationship statistics to fanbase identity, and may suggest lack of team success with personal life choices.
The franchise has never won a Super Bowl title, and famously lost 34-28 to the New England Patriots in 2017, despite having a 28-3 lead at one point. The stat about having the highest percentage of single fans triggered many hilarious reactions from NFL fans who did not hesitate to roast the franchise’s fanbase.

Many NFL fans came to social media to make fun of the Falcons fanbase for leading these type of statistics, and quipped about their lack of Super Bowl glory.
One user wrote, “Well that’s what happens when our team is fucking us enough.”
A second user said, “we are literally heartbreaking 💔💔”.
A third user replied, “Because most aint never expecting a ring”.
Another added, “fanbase filled with a bunch of hoes”.
A fifth pointed out their famous Super Bowl breakdown with the stat, “Falcons fans 28-3 at dating hits like”.
A sixth user commented, “A lot of Atlanta Falcons fans are single. That’s one more than their Super Bowl Championship wins.”
The Atlanta Falcons fanbase will be hoping for more success in the 2026 NFL season, while the team prepare themselves in the offseason.
