Green Bay Packers: Micah Parsons is team’s highest-ranked player on PFF’s top 101 NFL players…

The Green Bay Packers made the biggest move of the off-season last year when they traded for All-Pro defensive end Micah Parsons. While the deal came after training camp and close to the start of the regular season, there was arguably no bigger move made in the entire league than that particular transaction.

In his first season with Green Bay, Parsons accumulated 12.5 sacks, becoming the first player in NFL history to record 12 or more sacks in each of his first five seasons. Despite missing the final three games of the year with a torn ACL, he still finished third in Defensive Player of the Year voting.

And with the release of PFF’s top 101 NFL players list, he is ranked the best overall player on the Packers roster.

Green Bay Packers star Micah Parsons comes in #13 on PFF’s top 101 list

Green Bay safety Xavier McKinney came in ranked 66th on PFF’s list and quarterback Jordan Love slotted in at 37th. With their recent update today, Parsons was revealed as the Packers’ highest rated player on PFF’s 101 best players list, holding the 13th overall ranking:

“A season-ending injury cost Parsons the final stretch of his 2025 NFL season, but it was still a special debut campaign in Green Bay. He earned a 90.0-plus PFF overall grade for the fourth straight season, with his 22.6% PFF pass-rush win rate ranking fourth among all edge defenders.”

The fact that Parsons was ranked so highly despite missing three games just goes to show how dominant he was when he was healthy. So too does the fact that Green Bay did not win a single game after he was lost for the season.

Indeed, there are plenty of factors that explain why the Packers came up short (again) in 2025, but the loss of Parsons cannot be understated. He is, by far, the best pass rusher on the team, which affects how well the secondary plays too.

If he is able to come back healthy and does not lose a step of his quickness, there is a high probability that he will be even higher on this list next off-season.
