I’m a frontline leader, not an armchair activist. I’ve a track record of organizing, delivering results and standing up for people when it isn’t easy. • I’ve shown up where it mattered. I canvassed in red counties in Pennsylvania to help secure the Biden win, and I organized in Georgia to help elect Sens. Warnock and Ossoff and protect the Senate majority. I protested regularly at Broadview Detention Center to defend immigrant rights and due process when there were no cameras. • I serve the people most politics forgets. I volunteer as a GED tutor in Cook County Jail because I believe public safety includes real pathways that reduce repeat crime and address socioeconomic disparities. • I’ve defended women’s autonomy and reproductive rights. I founded the Illinois Democratic Women of Cook County, led the Women’s March in Chicago and coordinated Handmaids protests to organize boldly for reproductive freedom and bodily autonomy. • ’ve led in our schools and in crisis. As a Local School Council chair and parent representative, I know the pulse of our community, and I helped organize one of the first COVID vaccination drives during the shortage, when leadership and logistics mattered most. • I can build coalitions and win. As a regional organizing director, I connected county leadership and helped build relationships that hadn’t existed before, because change requires collaboration, not headlines. As the national voting rights lead of the largest grassroot coalition supporting the Biden/Harris campaign, I have worked in multiple battleground states mobilizing voters from diverse demographics and building coalitions. I’m running as a mom, neighbor and immigrant who became a naturalized citizen, someone who built everything brick by brick through hard work and merit. I have no political godparents, no family money and no wealthy donor network. I’m powered by small donors and community support, and that’s why I will be accountable to the people, not the political insiders. That’s the difference: I don’t just talk about change, I’ve delivered it, side by side with the community.
