I am the best candidate for this office because I bring lived experience and policy expertise. I grew up in Chicago’s Austin community, experienced homelessness and attended eight schools, shaping my understanding of what happens when policy fails families. With bachelor’s and master’s degrees in public policy and a decade of public service, including six years in the Illinois Attorney General’s Office, I understand how the legislative process works. The 8th District deserves prepared, accountable leadership that puts the community first, and I am ready to deliver.
