If I am elected, I will always fight against higher property taxes, work with the state Board of Education and local school districts to ensure that every student, upon graduating high school, is on a path to college or a career, and I will hold hospital executives accountable. We also have a problem with our youth suffering. Whether it is in LaGrange or in the Austin neighborhood, our children are being exposed to trauma daily via social media and other online platforms. They are too young, and their brains aren’t developed enough to handle that stress and pain alone. That is why I want to ensure that every child, regardless of zip code, has access to a quality therapist or counselor in their school.
