Chelsea Announce IFS as New Shirt Sponsor for the Rest of 2025-26 Season

Chelsea Football Club have finally signed a deal with Industrial AI company IFS to sponsor the front of their shirts for the rest of the season. The Blues have confirmed a multi-year global partnership that makes IFS the Principal Partner right away. This ends their long search for a lead sponsor this season.

The West London team have been without a permanent front-of-shirt sponsor for more than half of the current season. This is because their temporary seven-game deal with property developer DAMAC ended last summer. Chelsea now have 14 global partners, and the IFS logo will be on their shirts until the end of the current season. The partnership, however, will last until the summer of 2028.

Jason Gannon, the president of Chelsea, said he was excited about the partnership and that the club are very proud to work with IFS and use their AI software to help the team do even better. The Blues executive stressed that this partnership is a promise to keep being the best at leveraging new technologies and AI to make everything they do, on and off the field, better.

Mark Moffat, the CEO of IFS, said both companies are on the same page. He said:

“In sport as in industry, the margins are small, the stakes are high, and the right decision at the right moment is everything. That’s what IFS Industrial AI delivers for the industries that power the global economy.

“Chelsea FC holds itself to that same uncompromising standard, and that shared ambition is exactly why we’re proud to be their Principal Partner.”

The new sponsorship will start when Liam Rosenior’s men’s team play Burnley at Stamford Bridge on Saturday afternoon. On Sunday at Kingsmeadow, the women’s team, led by Sonia Bompastor, will wear the IFS-branded shirts for the first time in their FA Cup fifth round match against Manchester United.

Who Are IFS? Everything You Need To Know About Chelsea’s New Principal Partner

Founded in 1983, IFS is a Swedish business software company headquartered in Linköping. The company was originally called Industrial and Financial Systems. Over the years, the company has grown a lot and now has more than 7,000 employees in 80 countries around the world. They make cloud-based business software for industries that rely heavily on assets and services.

The technology company is worth an amazing €15 billion (about US$17 billion) thanks to strong growth and a strategic shift toward Industrial AI solutions. In January 2026, IFS announced a strategic partnership with the Cadillac Formula 1 Team ahead of their planned debut season. IFS also became the official team sponsor of the Sri Lanka national cricket team for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 on January 19. These sponsorships show that IFS is becoming more involved in sports around the world. Chelsea are now their most famous football partner.
