The Lakers open the second half of their season as 7.5-point favorites over their crosstown rivals as a tone-setting matchup in the race for playoff position in the Western Conference. LeBron James, Luka Doncic and company limped into the All-Star Break with ailments to heal and losses in two of its past three games. The Lakers still sit atop the Pacific Division and sit fifth in the West standings, as they enter the second half with a 33-21 record and hopes of getting their trio of James, Doncic and Austin Reaves all healthy and leading the charge.
