Dubs fans have their fingers crossed that Stephen Curry will reach full recovery in the wake of his concerning right knee injury.

As such, the Golden State Warriors superstar offered a significant update about his ongoing rehabilitation to NBC Sports' Dalton Johnson.

“Feeling good. I mean, it’s not going the way that I wanted it to, but I think we’re in the right direction of trying to get back out there as fast as possible," he said.

"The goal is to be healthy come playoff time and be available when it matters most. Obviously, I’d love to be playing right now. If you’re healthy, you’re able to play.

Curry has been dealing with patellofemoral pain syndrome, more commonly known as "runner’s knee." He has missed the Warriors' last six games, as he also didn't play in the past All-Star Game.

Apparently, the Warriors recently announced that he'll miss 10 more days to recover, in which he is slated to be unavailable for at least the next five games.

The Dubs are facing an uphill climb with Curry sidelined. They are currently sliding with a two-game losing skid, sitting No. 8 in the West standings with a 29-27 record.

Curry stands optimistic about his current recovery and return sooner rather than later.

"I’m headed in the right direction and hopefully it won’t be too much longer,” he added.
