EVERY Chelsea Transfer Signing Since Todd Boehly Joined - Part One

Todd Boehly’s time at the Chelsea helm has been turbulent, to say the least. His reign has been characterised by enormous spending – even more so than previous owner Roman Abramovich.

In total, the Blues have made 38 permanent transfers under Boehly’s watch. Today, we’ll be looking at the first 19.

Enzo Fernandez

After a shaky start to life at Chelsea, during which he was played out of position and struggled to adapt to the Premier League, Enzo Fernandez is now one of the Blues’ top stars.

With eight goals and two assists from the heart of midfield this season, Fernandez’s development has been spellbinding.

Mykhailo Mudryk

Oh dear. Mykhailo Mudryk arrived at Chelsea amid plenty of hype – sadly, he failed to live up to even a fraction of it.

After a string of underwhelming performances on the wing, he was suspended after violating the FA’s anti-doping policy.

Noni Madueke

Noni Madueke also arrived at Chelsea with plenty of pomp and circumstance behind him. A skilful winger, he never really carved out a spot in the Blues’ first team.

Now, he plays for local rivals Arsenal after the Gunners bought him for a fee of £50 million – Gunners fans were initially unenthused, but he has proven to be a decent signing for them.

Malo Gusto

Malo Gusto was brought in as a backup to Reece James, but frequent injuries sustained by the Chelsea captain meant that Gusto enjoyed more playing time than what was expected of him.

He has quietly become one of the best signings of the Boehly era. Featuring breakneck pace and limitless stamina, Gusto is a dependable defender who can also contribute in the final third.
