Ahead of the Denver Nuggets' Friday matchup against the Portland Trail Blazers, Jokic shared a special moment with Yang Hansen.
The two talked for a while, with the Chinese sensation gaining a helping hand from his translator to communicate. Jokic then shook Hansen's hand and posed for some pictures.
During the 2026 NBA All-Star Weekend, Yang went viral for his viral response when asked about potentially meeting Jokic.
Unfortunately, there was no kissing that happened between the two. Regardless, Hansen can only be ecstatic about finally meeting his role model.
Hansen hasn't played much this season for Portland since being chosen as the 16th overall pick of last year's Draft. But the pride of China is promising for the Blazers' G League team.
In five games with the Rip City Remix so far, Hansen is averaging 16.2 points, 9.4 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 1.2 blocks in 30.9 minutes of play.
