Manchester City will be aiming to increase the pressure on Arsenal today as it hosts Newcastle in the Premier League.
With the Gunners not playing until Sunday, Pep Guardiola's side can go within two points of the league leaders and really start to raise the heat on Mikel Arteta. With Arsenal having dropped points at Wolves during the week, City now knows it will claim the title if it wins all of its remaining games.
Newcastle though will be hoping to throw a wrench in the works and boost its own European hopes, with Eddie Howe's side sitting in 10th ahead of the weekend's fixtures.

Early team news
Erling Haaland should return for City today. The striker sat out last weekend’s FA Cup win over Salford City with an injury, but has been pictured in training this week.
Savinho is also back in contention, but Jeremy Doku remains out with a calf problem. Meanwhile, Josko Gvardiol and Mateo Kovacic miss out again, while Max Alleyne is a doubt after being forced off against Salford.

As for the visitors, Newcastle will be without Bruno Guimaraes, with the midfielder having ruled out for around two months though injury.
Yoane Wissa is a slight doubt after picking up a knock in training last week, while Sven Botman could return after missing the cup win over Aston Villa. Lewis Miley will be hoping to make a return soon.
