The Eagles are considering a managerial switch-up as their struggles continue.
Despite steering Crystal Palace through their most successful spell arguably ever, as they won the FA Cup and Community Shield across the last two seasons, Oliver Glasner is now under serious pressure.
With one win in 15 games in all competitions this season, Crystal Palace find themselves in a difficult spot.
Oliver Glasner has largely been a great success at the club, but his opinionated character has caused divides at times, with the bluntness of some things he says raising questions.
In the summer, Liverpool were seconds away from securing the signing of Marc Guehi before Crystal Palace walked away from the deal at the final stage, with rumours surfacing that Glasner had threatened to walk if the club had sanctioned the sale of their captain.
Now, amidst a torrid run of form, Glasner has recently come out and admitted he does not believe he is good enough to cope with losing so many of his key players.
Sending an indirect dig at the owners once again as their relationship continues to strain.
During Palace’s most recent outing saw them fall to a disappointing 1-1 draw with Bosnian side Zrinjski in the Conference League with fans quick to chant ‘you’re getting sacked in the morning.’
With Cystal Palace currently sat in 13th having lost seven of their last 11 Premier League matches, as well as struggling in Europe, they have begun to turn their attention to potential replacements.
According to TalkSPORT, former Liverpool striker Robbie Keane is certainly one man they have their eye on.
The 45-year-old has impressively managed Hungarian outfit Ferencvaros since taking change of them in January 2025, guiding them to the top-flight title last season.
This season, they currently sit in second place and are still in the Europa League.
Such impressive achievements have put him in contention of taking over from Oliver Glasner should the club agree to part ways with him.
With the added realisation that Oliver Glasner has already announced this season that he doesn’t intend to sign a new deal with the club, Crystal Palace may accelerate their efforts to sign a replacement, with Robbie Keane amongst the favourites to take charge of the London-based club.
Crystal Palace are not the only Premier League that have been keeping their eye on Robbie Keane, with Tottenham Hotspur adding Robbie Keane as a potential replacement for the departed Thomas Frank.
