Two seasons ago, Brandon Aiyuk was considered one of the top wide receivers in the NFL. Now, fans are wondering if they'll ever see him take another meaningful snap.
Aiyuk received a $120 million extension from the San Francisco 49ers after having 1,342 receiving yards and seven touchdowns during the 2023 season. There seemed to be a real connection between him and quarterback Brock Purdy.
Unfortunately, a torn ACL cut Aiyuk's 2024 season short. That turned out to be the beginning of the end for his time in San Francisco. Not only did he miss every game during the 2025 season, he only made headlines for the wrong reasons, like speeding past Levi's Stadium.
Earlier this week, Aiyuk was called out by popular streamer N3on for allegedly requesting $100,000 for a collab.
"I've had an NFL player, Brandon Aiyuk, DM and say $100k for a collab," N3on said. "$100k? Are you f------ serious? I don't get what's up with these NFL players tryna ask for money bro, it's insane! Let's just vibe out have fun, come, promote your business, show some love, like, jeez."
Shortly after N3on exposed Aiyuk, an alleged video of the wide receiver letting ice cream melt all over him went viral on social media. Although the video is fake and doesn't even include Aiyuk, it sparked a ton of reactions from the NFL world.
Most fans are genuinely concerned about Aiyuk and believe he needs help.

"Something is very wrong with him," one fan commented.
"If he is going through a crisis. He definitely needs help. But this is just reckless and ridiculous," a second fan wrote on X.
"Nobody should take Brandon Aiyuk seriously. Not now or ever again," a third fan declared.
"The 49ers signed a four-year, $120 million extension in August 2024, and since then, they've received seven games of mediocre production, a torn ACL/MCL, and a complete social media blackout," another fan said.
49ers are done with Aiyuk.
Exactly one month ago, 49ers general manager John Lynch confirmed that Aiyuk won't be on the roster for the 2026 season.
"I think it's safe to say that he's played his last snap with the Niners," Lynch said. "It's unfortunate. A situation that just went awry. And I will look long and hard at what could have been done differently, but sometimes it just doesn't work out. And I think that this was a case where that happened."
Aiyuk had about $27 million in guarantees voided from his contract for missing rehab sessions last offseason. The current expectation is that he'll be released when the new league year begins.
