Look: Chiefs Star Patrick Mahomes and Wife Brittany Take Kids Out to Fun-Packed Peppa Pig Theme …

At the Peppa Pig Theme Park in Dallas-Fort Worth, Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and wife, Brittany Mahomes, celebrated their daughter Sterling’s fifth birthday on Friday.

The day of the celebration, the three-time Super Bowl champion attended the festivities despite a grueling rehabilitation schedule. Head coach Andy Reid confirmed that Mahomes (recovering from ACL/LCL tears) performs seven hours of physical therapy every day at the team facility. Mahomes suffered a severe injury during Week 15 of this season, and while he stepped away for the family milestone, reports suggest his mobility will be altered following the reconstructive surgery.

In the meantime, Sterling, born on Feb. 20, 2021, spent the morning at the Texas amusement park with family before a private dinner featuring macarons, brownies, and a sprinkle cake topped with a number five candle.

The Chiefs Adjusted Patrick Mahomes’ Contract

The Chiefs organization adjusted the contract of Patrick Mahomes earlier this week to gain financial flexibility. The transaction lowered his salary cap hit from $78 million to $34.65 million, creating nearly $44 million in spending room.

“Kansas City Chiefs restructured Patrick Mahomes contract this week, lowering his salary cap number… which creates just under 44 million in salary cap space,” ESPN noted regarding the expected outcome.

The team entered the offseason way over the cap and requires the savings to address a defense that ranked 22nd in sacks and 19th in sacks per drop-back.

What if the Chiefs don’t fortify the front line? Well, analyst Booger McFarland had an honest answer for that:

“The offensive line isn’t what it used to be — there was a point in time this offensive line was one of the best in football,” McFarland said. “The tackle situation there is not good… they got to get better up front as Patrick is not going to be [as mobile]”.

While management looks to defensive tackle Chris Jones for the next contract restructure, the return of a familiar face has surfaced in rumors. Offensive Coordinator Eric Bieniemy is back, and social media reports suggest receiver Tyreek Hill is currently in Kansas City.

“We know that Tyreek has that, and we know that they know how to use that,” analyst Louis Riddick added regarding the potential reunion. “They know how to motivate him… they know how to put him in situations where he can absolutely go off”.

However, Hill’s health remains a significant concern, with Snapchat reports indicating he may not be ready for the start of the season. The organization continues to rebuild its roster, including contributors Mike Danna and George Karlaftis, for the 2026 offseason.
