Liverpool already have a player worth more than Morgan Rogers and Desire Doue

Florian Wirtz joined Liverpool from Bayer Leverkusen for £116m in 2025, and he is now the fifth-most valuable player in the world.

During the early days of his Anfield career, Wirtz came in for a lot of criticism in the media.

He was not scoring or assisting in the Premier League, and Liverpool as a squad were really struggling.

However, Wirtz has improved a great deal in the last couple of months, and that is now reflected in his current valuation.

CIES FootballObservatory have put together a list of the most valuable players at each club from 67 leagues around the world.

Despite Alexander Isak costing Liverpool a British transfer record, Wirtz is actually given a higher valuation than the Swede.

He is given a ‘fair price’ of €123m-€143m, which ranks the German fifth among all players in the world.

Interestingly, a number of players linked to Liverpool are also included in the top 10.

Doue and Olise have recently been mooted as potential replacements for Mohamed Salah.

Olise is worth more than Wirtz, with a fair price of €128m-€148m.

But the versatile PSG winger comes in sixth on the list with a valuation of €119m-€138m.

Morgan Rogers has also been linked to Liverpool, and he too sits below Wirtz (€117m-€136m).
