Suns’ Devin Booker ruled out, Grayson Allen questionable vs. Magic

The Phoenix Suns have ruled out star guard Devin Booker (right hip strain), and Grayson Allen (right ankle sprain) is questionable ahead of Saturday’s matchup with the Orlando Magic.

Booker started Thursday’s game against the San Antonio Spurs but couldn’t finish the first half due to right hip soreness.

Saturday will be Booker’s 13th game missed this season and ninth in the last 12 games.

In his 44 games this season, Booker is averaging 24.7 points, 6.1 assists and 3.9 rebounds in 33.3 minutes per game.

Allen will miss his second straight game out of the break if he does not play. He was dealing with a knee issue before the All-Star break and sprained his ankle in shootaround after the break.

He has missed 21 games this season, including Phoenix’s last four matchups. Allen is averaging 17 points, four assists and three rebounds in 30.3 minutes played per game.

The Suns will get Dillon Brooks back after serving a suspension Thursday. Haywood Highsmith (right knee injury management) and Cole Anthony (not with team) are out.
