Seattle Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald reveals he spends only 30 minutes with his son, Jack, each week. And then, after those 30 minutes to an hour, he goes to his setup at home to create a game plan from a different perspective.

Announcing the birth of his son in December, Macdonald described his wife as an awesome warrior, while extending his gratitude to the medical professionals who helped his wife during labor. He disclosed his limited time schedule with his son in an interview with KING 5 Seattle, while counseling other coaches take after his deliberateness in connecting with family.
According to the latest Super Bowl-winning coach, time spent with his son and at home gives him a different perspective on events at the franchise. He also gets to work further on his fame plan after spending time at home with Jack. That way, the gaffer feels he can remain fresh all season long.

Mike recently started leaving work early on Thursdays so he could see his son for half an hour.

Reporting the story, @NFL_DovKleiman captions the footage where the gaffer opens up on his personal life:
“I actually think I’m here less… Which is, I hope some of our coaches took that as well. On Thursdays, I don’t get to see Jack throughout the week as much, so on Thursdays, which is today, I try to get home pretty quick to be with him, maybe a half-hour to an hour before he goes to bed.”
His wife, Stephanie, was an NFL cheerleader for eight years with the Washington Commanders, Baltimore Ravens, and Tennessee Titans. She is also a talented musician who has performed the national anthem before NFL games and is a regular singer at her local church.
In 2014, during her second year as a Baltimore Ravens cheerleader, Stephanie was named to the Pro Bowl. After a successful Super Bowl run, Macdonald is definitely looking forward to more remarkable feats with the Seattle Seahawks.
