The Phoenix Suns were hit with a massive injury blow on Saturday night.
As the team worked on picking up a victory over the Orlando Magic without the star guard Devin Booker in the mix, the veteran standout Dillon Brooks left the matchup early with a suspected hand injury.
It was later revealed that Brooks is dealing with a broken hand, and will be sidelined for an extended period. According to ESPN's Shams Charania, the timetable for Brooks' recovery hasn't been determined.

Brooks managed to check in for just seven minutes on Saturday night. He shot 2-10 from the field, and made just one of his three shots from beyond the arc, while coming down with three rebounds. He was ruled out not long after he checked out.
In the absence of Brooks and Booker, the Suns went to overtime with the Magic. Despite being shorthanded, the Suns came away with a 113-110 victory.
This season, Brooks has been healthy for the most part. He recently missed the Suns' matchup against the San Antonio Spurs due to a suspension. Aside from that, he was out for a six-game stretch in late October and early November.
Brooks is in the midst of his first season with the Suns. He joined the team via trade over the summer, wrapping up a two-season run with the Houston Rockets, which included 147 games of action.
Since joining the Suns, Brooks has been in a starring role. Through his 49 games this season, the veteran forward has posted averages of 21.2 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 1.8 assists. He hasshot 44 percent from the field and 34 percent from beyond the arc.
