Whilst AC Milan appear the keenest, it has now been revealed by CaughtOffside that Bayern Munich have the defender on the radar too.
Joe Gomez isn’t a priority for the Bundesliga side, but he is most definitely a name that could become important if other targets don’t work out.
One thing is certain – they are monitoring his situation closely.
West Ham and Brighton are also on the hunt for defenders with Premier League experience this summer although West Ham could fail to be seen as a desirable destination for Gomez if they are relegated to the Championship.
Joe Gomez’s salary demands could also prove to be a stumbling block, so it remains to be seen what club would be willing to take such an expensive gamble on a player with the injury record that the Englishman holds.
