U.S. Issues 'Warning' After 3 NFL Players Are Found Dead

The U.S. has issued a "warning" after three NFL players were found dead.

Current NFL wide receiver Rondale Moore, 25, was found dead at home on Saturday. Two former NFL players, Tre' Johnson and Kevin Johnson, were found dead earlier this year. Moore was believed to have died via a self-inflicted gunshot wound, while Tre' Johnson suffered a medical emergency on vacation and Kevin Johnson was found dead in a homeless encampment.

Moore, a standout wide receiver at Purdue, is mourned by all.

"Rondale Moore was a complete joy to coach," Brohm said. "The ultimate competitor that wouldn't back down from any challenge. Rondale had a work ethic unmatched by anyone. A great teammate that would come through in any situation. We all love Rondale, we loved his smile and competitive edge that always wanted to please everyone he came in contact with.

"We offer all of our thoughts and prayers to Rondale and his family, we love him very much."

While NFL players make millions of dollars playing a game, they go through their own struggles and tribulations, just like everyone else.

Rondale Moore died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, according to police, while Kevin Johnson, a longtime NFL veteran, was found dead in a homeless encampment. The U.S. is "warning" all athletes to take their mental health seriously.

The U.S. is warning everyone to seek help if they are dealing with the following issues:

Difficulty sleeping

Changes in appetite or unplanned weight changes

Difficulty getting out of bed in the morning because of mood

Difficulty concentrating

Loss of interest in things you usually find enjoyable

Inability to complete usual tasks and activities

Feelings of irritability, frustration, or restlessness

NFLPA sends warning to players, too

The NFLPA is reminding players - current and former - that they are here if help is needed. Do not hesitate to reach out.

"The NFL Players Association is devastated by the sudden and tragic passing of Rondale Moore," the union said. "This immense loss is felt deeply across our union, and we value his service as a player rep. Our condolences and prayers are with Rondale's family, teammates, and loved one during this incredibly difficult time.

"In moments like this we are reminded of how much our players carry, on and off the field. To our members: Please know that support is always within reach. Check on your teammates and prioritize your mental health. If you or someone you know is struggling, we encourage you to take advantage of the many confidential resources available to you through the NFLPA."

Our thoughts continue to be with everyone.
