Tottenham are out to land what could be a devastating blow to Arsenal’s Premier League title hopes this afternoon.
After Wolves rescued a last-gasp draw against the Gunners midweek, that familiar sense of panic has descended upon the red half of north London.
Arsenal are still in control of their own destiny but a rocky start to 2026 has raised serious questions over their ability to last the course with Manchester City breathing down their necks.
Dealing with Spurs hasn’t been a problem as of late – Mikel Arteta’s side haven’t lost to their arch-rivals since May 2022.
After sacking Thomas Frank, Igor Tudor has been parachuted in to rescue their season. The derby will be his first taste of English football, presenting him with the chance to become an instant hero.
Metro’s LIVE matchday blog will bring you all the build-up, confirmed team news and starting XIs, goal updates and minute-by-minute coverage.

Who is feeling the pressure the most?
Phil Haigh
Arsenal are top of the Premier League table but, after back-to-back draws, their lead has been cut to just two points.
Drop points again on Sunday and Manchester City may well move favourites to win the title, when the Gunners had been in a dominant position.
Spurs would love to have that kind of issue to contend with, sitting 16th in the table and in genuine danger of relegation.
The gap to West Ham in 18th is just four points and defeat would leave them in a scrap to survive.

Igor Tudor takes charge for the first time
Phil Haigh
After his surprise appointment as Tottenham manager until the end of the season, Igor Tudor takes charge of the team for the first time.
The Croatian is working in English football for the first time in his career after replacing Thomas Frank, who was sacked earlier this month.
‘I’m not here to enjoy it, I’m here to work,’ said the 47-year-old.
‘Enjoy is the first moment, and then there’s work to do. It’s a fantastic club. I am very focused to do the right things.
‘It is not about systems. It is important to become a team, a group, who will look after each other. For me this is basic.
‘After that the quality can come out and, for me, this is a team with quality, with legs that can run. There is potential.’
