Another name was added to Leeds United’s growing list of famous investors earlier this week with NFL star Maxx Crosby joining the project. In a post on Instagram which included a graphic of himself wearing the Leeds home shirt, the Las Vegas Raiders defensive player wrote: “Winners recognise winners. Proud to invest with Leeds United All in on the culture.”
Crosby joins a long list of elite American sports stars with a minority stake in Leeds including the likes of basketball player Larry Nance, pro golfer Jordan Spieth and Olympic swimming legend Michael Phelps. Away from sports, everyone from Hollywood actors to politicians have a vested interest in goings on at Elland Road.
