Charissa Thompson is best known for being a FOX Sports reporter and has been doing her job since 2006. She hosts the pregame show for Prime Video’s Thursday Night Football and used to work on the sidelines of NFL games, giving viewers much coverage before the matches start.
She is currently hosting FOX NFL Kickoff, where she conducts interviews and discussions with analysts. The media personality recently garnered attention for a domestic issue that has been bugging her.
Thompson has a home in California which she bought after years of hard-earned success. However, the reporter has had to do countless and unexpected home repairs on it, which has consumed much of her time and money. This has made her quite frustrated with the situation.

She described her feeling about owning her own home during an [episode of her podcast Calm Down With Erin and Charissa](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RSdk-eQZ6CU), “I love my life. I’m so grateful that I own a home. I know not everyone gets to do that. I’ve worked my ass off to own a house. It was like my greatest accomplishment when I first bought a house.”
The 43-year-old then jokingly added that she will be living in her garage, “However, there’s also times I wish I were renting some chic little apartment in New York. Also, I’ll be living in the garage now.”
She described the issues plaguing her were a leak in her roof and deck that were not being fixed for three years. Despite a large amount of money paid to redo the whole deck, it is still leaking. She is also fed up as she continuously has to have contractors enter her house, which she is uncomfortable with as she has to be physically present for every repair and due to a past robbery incident. All of this has annoyed her to the point that she is contemplating a lawsuit.
Thompson has now decided to think whether a lawsuit should be filed. She is tired of spending time and money on something that is still not being fixed.
She said, “I had to remove myself from the text chain because I was about to say things that they could have used in the court of law later that would have been used against me. Instead, I was like, I will get a lawyer involved. And I’m not litigious. I’m not one of these people that like to just throw that around because God knows they’re out there. I’ve had to deal with them.”
Charissa Thompson is clearly upset over her house not being fixed and may take drastic actions to have her justice.
