Moore, a second-round pick by the Arizona Cardinals in 2021 out of Purdue, carried enormous promise. He spent three seasons in Arizona before joining the Atlanta Falcons in 2024. He then signed a one-year deal with Minnesota in March 2025. Knee injuries, however, kept him off the field in both stops, leaving him on injured reserve without playing a single game for the Vikings.
Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Marquise “Hollywood” Brown, a former Cardinals teammate from 2022 to 2023, was among the first to speak publicly.

In a follow-up, headdressed Moore directly: “You wasn’t alone bro.. I told you I know how you feel.”

Vikings head coach Kevin O’Connellreleased a heartfelt statement, saying: “I am devastated by the news of Rondale’s death. While Rondale had been a member of the Vikings for a short time, he was someone we came to know well and care about deeply. He was a humble, soft-spoken, and respectful young man who was proud of his Indiana roots.” O’Connell added: “We are all heartbroken by the fact he won’t continue to live out his NFL dream.”
