Tributes pour in following death of NFL receiver, former Trinity player Rondale Moore

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - Tributes have poured in following the death of Rondale Moore on Saturday.

New Albany Police Chief Todd Bailey announced that Moore was found in a garage with what is believed to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound, and says his death is still under investigation.

Moore was a New Albany native and attended New Albany High School before transferring to Trinity High School, where he won two state championships.

He went on to play for Purdue University under current UofL head coach Jeff Brohm and eventually made the jump to the NFL, with stints at the Arizona Cardinals, the Atlanta Falcons, and, most recently, the Minnesota Vikings.

Moore was 25 years old.
