The North London derby finishes 4-1 and 4-1 again. 8-2 over two games this season. Arsenal’s biggest away win at Tottenham since 1978 when they won 5-0 at White Heart Lane.
This also marked five consecutive North London derby day wins with Arsenal five points clear of Manchester City at the top of the table. However, the cityzens have a game in hand and the two sides are yet to play each other for a second time.
Sunday’s hosts Tottenham sit four points above the bottom three.
Eberechi Eze opened the scoring just after the half hour mark.
But Arsenal’s 1-0 lead only lasted 24 seconds with [Randal **Kolo Muani](https://www.vavel.com/en/football/2025/12/07/tottenham-hotspur/1243890-thomasfrank-felt-his-players-were-on-the-same-page-against-brentford.html)** getting one back after a mistake.
Eze would score once more with Viktor Gyökeres also scoring twice to secure Mikel Arteta’s side the three points.

Kolo Muani saw another goal ruled out while Richarlison went close to making the score 3-2 on the 85th minute.
David Raya - 8
Was alert on a few occasions to dart off his line with some good reactions and probably could not have done much about the goal. Made a good stop at the start of the second 45 to deny Xavi Simons and another good stop to prevent Richarlison scoring in the dying stages.

Jurrien Timber - 7
Picked up the first yellow card of the game for a foul on Pape Matar Sarr. Other than that, this was a promising performance and overlapped well causing a threat to the Tottenham box. A good cross into the area was played for the Dutchman to grab an assist and set up the second goal.
William Saliba - 7
Perhaps lacked aggression before the equaliser. Has not scored in the league this season and had an attempt in the first half from a corner but headed wide. Besides this registered the most touches with a 90% pass accuracy.
Gabriel - 7
Strong and assured at the back and was successful in ten out of ten of his ground and aerial duels. The Brazilian was also pushed by Kolo Muani to deny a second Spurs equaliser.
Piero Hincapi é - 8
A solid defensive display on the left of the back four making several clearances and a game high seven tackles. Created three chances from full back and played a tidy long ball to Bukayo Saka just after the first half equaliser.

Martin Zubimendi - 6
Probably not his greatest performance in an Arsenal top but not bad nonetheless.
Declan Rice - 6
Made an unusual error on the edge of the box on his 100th Premier League game to set Kolo Muani up to find the back of the net.
Bukayo Saka - 8
Arteta started him in a more natural right midfield role instead of as a number ten.
Set Eze up for his volley with a cross from the right flank. Had a shot saved by Guglielmo Vicario just after Kolo Muani's goal but the linesman put the flag up for offside. Withdrawn with a knock.
Ebere Eze - 9
Scored his seventh goal in his last three games against Tottenham. The 27-year-old came close to joining Spurs in the summer but haunted them once again.
His volley was his first shot on target in the Premier League since the hattrick in November in the 4-1 derby win at the Emirates.
Made a decent contribution for Gyokeres’ goal confusing Dragusin before providing the Swede with space. His second strike was into an empty net after Saka dragged Vicario off his line.

Leandro Trossard - 6
Not an amazing performance from the former Brighton winger with a few wayward attempts on goal.
Viktor Gy ö keres - 9
Looked sharp from the off and had a couple of promising early chances with a headed attempt across goal blocked by Radu Dragusin and a well taken shot that went wide after beating the Romanian for pace.
Took his first goal really well with a good first touch and strike into the right corner of the goal. His second goal was similar with some good control and a decent strike to beat Vicario.

Substitutes
Cristhian Mosquera – 6
Good clearance to ensure no rebound was converted after Richarlison’s late chance.
Gabriel Martinelli - 6
Energetic with some good pressing work of the Tottenham defence on a couple of occasions from the bench.
Martin Odegaard – 7
Did well to set up Gyokeres in the channel for the fourth Arsenal goal and get himself an assist.

Noni Madueke – N/A
Was brought on in added time to replace the injured Saka and did not have enough time to make a major impact on the game.
