Travis Hunter had one of the most talked-about rookie seasons in recent memory for both the right and wrong reasons. The Jacksonville Jaguars’ No. 2 overall pick became the first player in modern NFL history to log meaningful snaps on both offense and defense in the same season.
In seven games before a season-ending LCL tear on Oct. 30, Hunter caught 28 receptions for 298 yards and a touchdown while also recording 15 tackles and three pass deflections on the defensive side.

His recovery, however, is expected to take roughly six months, putting him on track for full football activities by May 2026. Hunter has built a reputation for his carefree social media presence since his college days at Colorado, where he often went viral for dancing during Buffaloes workouts and events. This latest dance clip landed the same way.

According to NFL Network insider Cameron Wolfe, the Jaguars plan to deploy Hunter as a full-time cornerback and part-time receiver in 2026. So whether fans like his dancing or not, Hunter will have a much bigger defensive stage to silence his critics come September.
