Chelsea 1-1 Burnley, Player Ratings: At least João Pedro scores again

The lowest rated match overall under Liam Rosenior, and there wasn’t much to be happy about from it. Two more points dropped and gifted to the opposition, leaving us with just two points from six in our last two home games against opposition in and around the relegation zone. Not great!

The day did start with a lot more promise as João Pedro bundled the ball, himself, and the goalkeeper, too into the back of the net with barely five minutes on the clock. It was his 11th league goal of the season, bettering last year’s total (in the exact same amount of games, incidentally) and earning him a fourth Man of the Match in his last six appearances. In fact, with six Man of the Match awards in the WAGNH Community Ratings, he’s now moved ahead of Moisés Caicedo, Reece James, and Estêvão (five each) for the team lead as well.

Now we just need others in attack to start chipping in more regularly (from open play, even).

Not been a vintage year for Moi, but he still comfortably leads the team in total Player Ratings podium appearances with 17 (5 first, 6 second, 6 third).

It’s like counting medals at the Olympics, do you sort first by number of golds, or the number of total medals?

Neto got the assist on our goal, his fifth of the season, third best on the team (after JP and Reece James).
