NFL Combine 2026: Top prospects for Giants to watch, including playmakers for Jaxson Dart

As the [Giants](https://www.nj.com/giants/) prepare for their first draft under [John Harbaugh](https://www.nj.com/giants/2026/02/which-in-house-free-agents-should-giants-retain-and-who-should-they-let-walk.html), their decision makers will be in Indianapolis this week for the NFL Scouting Combine.

So let’s take a look at the top prospects for the Giants to watch at the combine, based on their primary positions of need.

**WIDE RECEIVER**

**Analysis:** Jaxson Dart needs a No. 2 outside receiver opposite Malik Nabers. Darius Slayton isn’t the long-term answer there. Since slot receiver Wan’Dale Robinson is the free agent, Dart might need someone to fill that role, as well.

**Prospects to watch:** Carnell Tate (Ohio State), Makai Lemon (USC), Jordyn Tyson (Arizona State), Denzel Boston (Washington), KC Concepcion (Texas A&M), Chris Bell (Louisville), Omar Cooper (Indiana), Germie Bernard (Alabama), Elijah Sarratt (Indiana), CJ Daniels (Miami)

**OFFENSIVE GUARD**

**Analysis:** Left guard Jon Runyan has underwhelmed through two seasons with the Giants and is a cut candidate. Right guard Greg Van Roten is a 36-year-old free agent. Neither has a long-term future in East Rutherford.

**Prospects to watch:** Olaivavega Ioane (Penn State), Emmanuel Pregnon (Oregon), Chase Bisontis (Texas A&M), Keylan Rutledge (Georgia Tech), Billy Schrauth (Notre Dame), Jalen Farmer (Kentucky), DJ Campbell (Texas), Beau Stephens (Iowa), Ar’maj Reed-Adams (Texas A&M), Kobe Baynes (Kansas)

**OFFENSIVE TACKLE**

**Analysis:** The Giants are set at left tackle with Andrew Thomas. Right tackle Jermaine Eluemunor is solid but not spectacular. He’s also a free agent, though he could return for his age-32 season. Who is the Giants’ right tackle of the future?

**Prospects to watch:** Francis Mauigoa (Miami), Spencer Fano (Utah), Kadyn Proctor (Alabama), Caleb Lomu (Utah), Monroe Freeling (Georgia), Max Iheanachor (Arizona State), Blake Miller (Clemson), Caleb Tiernan (Northwestern), Gennings Dunker (Iowa), Markel Bell (Miami)

**CORNERBACK**

**Analysis:** Cor’Dale Flott played well last year, but he’s a free agent. Paulson Adebo — who got big money from the Giants in free agency last offseason — struggled in 2025. Slot corner Dru Phillips took a step back in Year 2 last season. Lots of uncertainty here.

**Prospects to watch:** Mansoor Delane (LSU), Jermod McCoy (Tennessee), Avieon Terrell (Clemson), Brandon Cisse (South Carolina), Keith Abney (Arizona State), Colton Hood (Tennessee), Keionte Scott (Miami), D’Angelo Ponds (Indiana), Chris Johnson (San Diego State), Chandler Rivers (Duke)

**SAFETY**

**Analysis:** Harbaugh has long relied on stout safety play. Both of the Giants’ safeties — Jevon Holland and Tyler Nubin — underwhelmed in 2025. Holland, like Adebo, was a disappointing big-money addition. Nubin, a second-round pick in 2024, has yet to live up to his draft position.

**Prospects to watch:** Caleb Downs (Ohio State), Emmanuel McNeil-Warren (Toledo), Dillon Thieneman (Oregon), A.J. Haulcy (LSU), Kamari Ramsey (USC), Zakee Wheatley (Penn State), Genesis Smith (Arizona), Bud Clark (TCU), Michael Taaffe (Texas), Jalen Stroman (Notre Dame)

**INSIDE LINEBACKER**

**Analysis:** Will Harbaugh decide to cut Bobby Okereke? If so, the Giants will need a new middle linebacker. They also have plenty of questions at the other inside linebacker spot.

**Prospects to watch:** Arvell Reese (Ohio State), Sonny Styles (Ohio State), CJ Allen (Georgia), Anthony Hill (Texas), Jake Golday (Cincinnati), Josiah Trotter (Missouri), Deontae Lawson (Alabama), Kyle Louis (Pittsburgh), Jacob Rodriguez (Texas Tech), Taurean York (Texas A&M)

**DEFENSIVE LINE**

**Analysis:** The Giants’ edge rushers are in place — Brian Burns, Abdul Carter and Kayvon Thibodeaux (unless Harbaugh trades him). But they need more along the interior defensive line aside from Dexter Lawrence, who also could get dealt (though he’s not as likely of a trade candidate as Thibodeaux).

**Prospects to watch:** Peter Woods (Clemson), Caleb Banks (Florida), Kayden McDonald (Ohio State), Lee Hunter (Texas Tech), Christen Miller (Georgia), Dontay Corleone (Cincinnati), Domonique Orange (Iowa State), Darrell Jackson (Florida State), Skyler Gill-Howard (Texas Tech), Tim Keenan (Alabama)
