Chelsea goalkeeper Filip Jorgensen says he is closing in on his return to match fitness.
The Denmark international posted on Instagram earlier today, confirming that he is “back on the grass training”.
Jorgensen has been sidelined for the last seven matches with an unspecified injury. He was last available for the 3-2 win over Napoli at the end of January.
It has been almost a full month since the 23-year-old last made the matchday squad, having missed the league games against Crystal Palace, West Ham, Wolves, Leeds and Burnley, the FA Cup fourth-round tie against Hull City and the second leg of the Carabao Cup semi-final versus Arsenal.
Jorgensen could be back on the bench this weekend
From the looks of things, the Dane will be among the substitutes when Liam Rosenior’s men take on Arsenal at the Emirates on Sunday evening.

The game has taken on extra importance in the Blues’ battle to secure Champions League qualification following successive home draws against Leeds and Burnley.

Estevao was missing for the draw against Burnley after picking up a hamstring problem in training. The Brazilian joins the likes of Marc Cucurella and Jamie Gittens on the treatment table with similar injuries.
Romeo Lavia is still not classed as match fit for first-team duties, but there is optimism that the Belgian will feature again soon after making an appearance for the Under-21s against Leeds on Friday.
Dario Essugo is not expected to be available before March due to a muscular issue, while Levi Colwill is in rehabilitation as he continues his recovery from an ACL injury he sustained back in August.
