The 2026 NFL Scouting Combine is set to get underway from Indianapolis, Indiana this week.
The NFL world will descend upon Indianapolis for the next week. The top prospects for the 2026 NFL Draft are set to work out and interview in front of all 32 teams across the league. Not everyone will be participating, though, as star quarterback Fernando Mendoza is set to wait for his Pro Day.
"At the combine, you're throwing to different receivers. It's a whole different thing," Mendoza said on The Pat McAfee Show. "And I want to make sure I give my guys the best chance. I want to throw at pro day with my guys, with my running backs and be there with the boys.
He added: "It's such a quick turnaround. January 19th? I mean, I felt bad, like a lot of our guys on our team. Luckily, I'm in a better position that I don't got to throw in the combine, but a lot of our guys - we had Kaelon Black play in the Senior Bowl. Game 17. That's a true NFL season."

But it's not just college prospects that are worth watching during the 2026 NFL Scouting Combine.
There could be a trade or two, as well, with the entire league descending upon one place for the week.
5 NFL stars that could be traded before the NFL Draft
The first player to watch, of course, is Raiders star Maxx Crosby. The star pass rusher has reportedly made it clear to Tom Brady, the Raiders' minority owner, that he doesn't want to remain in Las Vegas.
ESPN has already made some trade suggestions, too, like:
DAL gets: Crosby, 2026 second-round pick (No. 36 overall)
LV gets: WR George Pickens, 2026 first-round pick (No. 20 overall)
Will we see a Crosby trade this week?
Crosby isn't the only big name on the block, though.
Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray could be moved, as well. The Cardinals appear to be starting fresh and a split from Murray is possible, if not even likely.
Outside of Murray and Crosby, several other top NFL players could be traded, including:
Eagles star wide receiver A.J Brown
Bears wide receiver DJ Moore
Jaguars wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr.
It's shaping up to be an eventful offseason.
Who do you see getting moved?
