Boston Celtics legend Paul Pierce just made an argument for why the Celts will win the East this season.

At the center of Pierce's take was Brown, who has delivered a standout performance this year, emerging as one of the league's top scorers and all-around contributors. The All-Star wing is averaging 29.2 points per game (ranking 4th in the NBA), along with 7.0 rebounds, 4.9 assists, 1.0 steals, and 0.4 blocks across 50 games played. He's shooting 48.1% from the field and 34.4% from three-point range while logging 34.3 minutes per contest.
Brown's production has reached new levels, marking what many describe as the best season of his career so far. In February, he posted strong numbers, including a career-high 13 assists to go with 23 points and 15 rebounds in a triple-double effort during a win over the Golden State Warriors on February 19.
On Sunday night, he dropped 32 points, eight rebounds, seven assists, and three steals in a dominant victory against the Los Angeles Lakers, helping Boston secure a season sweep in that matchup.
His expanded role has fueled Boston's solid 37-19 record, positioning the team well in the Eastern Conference standings.
