Liverpool defender Andy Robertson sees a move to Celtic in the summer transfer window as a 'compelling option', with his contract set to expire, according to CaughtOffside.
Robertson looked set to be heading through the exit door during the January transfer window, but a move to Tottenham fell through, with Liverpool needing to keep hold of the Scottish international.
The Merseyside club appeared keen to sanction a sale at the time, and with his contract expiring, it looks as though he could be leaving Anfield at the end of the season.
Whether Celtic could attract someone of Robertson's calibre remains to be seen, especially if he has offers on the table from sides like Tottenham in the summer.
A move to his home country could be seen as a fairytale ending to what has been an illustrious career for Robertson.

According to a report from Caught Offside, Celtic is an 'emotionally compelling option' for Robertson ahead of the summer, given it's a chance for him to finish his career in his home country.
The former Hull City left-back also spent some of his youth career at the Celtic academy, so a return to Parkhead could be on the cards for Robertson.
How interested Celtic would be remains to be seen, especially as they only completed a similar deal, bringing Kieran Tierney back to the club, recently.
There are a host of clubs believed to be interested in signing Robertson at the end of the season, including from the Premier League, so it could be a competitive race for his signature.

Robertson Deal Might Not Make Sense for Celtic

Considering Celtic recently brought Tierney back to the club, a deal for Robertson might not make a lot of sense. The Liverpool defender is likely to demand a large salary, and signing a left-back isn't a priority at the moment.
There's no doubt Robertson, described as 'world-class', would improve their options, and there's an argument to suggest he would be an upgrade on Tierney, but their money could be better spent elsewhere in the summer.
Of course, Robertson wouldn't cost anything in terms of a transfer fee, but the wages might be an issue for the Glasgow giants.
