Arsenal have reportedly opened talks over a potential summer move for AC Milan winger Rafael Leao.
The 26-year-old has been heavily linked with a move away from the Serie A giants in recent years. Arsenal are among the clubs credited with holding a long-term interest.
Now, it appears the Portugal international could be on the move this summer.
According to FootballTransfers, Arsenal have held initial conversations with Leao’s representatives. They plan to step up their interest in the winger.
Leao has been identified as the Gunners’ main attacking target ahead of the summer transfer window. AC Milan are understood to be open to selling their star man.

However, Premier League rivals Manchester United are also showing strong interest. Although Arsenal are believed to be the frontrunners for the Portuguese forward’s signature.
Leao’s camp has already held face-to-face discussions with Arsenal sporting director Andrea Berta.
The Rossoneri would reportedly demand around £65–70m to sanction a sale this summer.
