NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Pelicans guard Dejounte Murray is set to return to the court Tuesday night as New Orleans hosts the Golden State Warriors, a team source confirms.
The game will be Murray’s first since rupturing his Achilles tendon last season.
Murray told members of the media on Monday that he feels great “spiritually, mentally, and physically.”
“I’m just excited to go get a win,” Murray said. “That’s the only thing that matters to me.”
Guard Micah Peavy (toe) practiced Monday, but center Yves Missi and forward Trey Murphy did not.
Guard Steph Curry (knee) is expected to be out for Golden State.
