Another Utah Jazz big man is set to miss the rest of the season due to surgery.
According to NBA insider Chris Haynes, Jazz starting center Jusuf Nurkic will undergo a surgical procedure on his nose Wednesday that will sideline him for the remainder of the season.
The 31-year-old veteran appeared in 41 games with Utah this season, averaging 10.9 points, 10.4 rebounds, and 4.8 assists per game.
Earlier this month, the Jazz's trade deadline acquisition Jaren Jackson Jr. was also announced to miss the rest of the season due to knee surgery.
The Utah Jazz are currently sitting 13th in the Western Conference with an 18-39 record.
