Arsenal are reportedly set to open formal talks with Declan Rice over a new long-term contract.

Since joining the club from West Ham in the summer of 2023, Rice has established himself as one of Mikel Arteta’s most important players.

With Arsenal having rewarded Gabriel, William Saliba and, most recently, Bukayo Saka with new major deals, the England international midfielder is expected to be next.

TEAMtalk’s transfer insider Graeme Bailey reports that the Gunners are preparing to open contract talks with Declan Rice.

Mikel Arteta’s side aim to tie Rice down to a new long-term contract before the start of next season.
