Man Utd will target Champions League qualification at the end of the season under Michael Carrick.
Michael Carrick continued his unbeaten start to life as United head coach thanks to another goal from substitute Benjamin Sesko as they recorded a win on their first visit to the Hill Dickinson Stadium. It means United are now three points ahead of both Chelsea and Liverpool in the Premier League table, with the same number of matches played
The victory has strengthened United's hopes of Champions League qualification at the end of the season, with 11 matches left of the Premier League campaign. A top-four finish will be enough for a place in the top continental club competition, while a top-five finish will also likely be sufficient based on the current Uefa coefficient rankings.

Manchester United face a fierce battle for Champions League qualification, with Liverpool and Chelsea both in the race for a top-five finish. Aston Villa could also be at risk of missing out on a place in the competition if they are unable to find a fix to their recent form.
Michael Carrick's side are back in action at the end of the week when they host Crystal Palace at Old Trafford, before they make the trip to face Newcastle on Wednesday 4 March. United then have another lengthy gap between matches before they welcome Aston Villa to Manchester on Sunday 15 March.
United make the trip to face Bournemouth on Friday 20 March in the final match before the international break and return to action when they host Leeds over the weekend of Saturday 11 March.
