Marshall’s Bryce Lance following in older brother’s footsteps

FARGO, ND (Dakota News Now) -Former Marshall Tiger Bryce Lance will be at the NFL Combine later this week, following in his older brother footsteps. And Trey was the 3rd player selected in the draft after his sophomore year.

Bryce became the first Bison receiver ever with back to back 1,000 yard seasons. So you have to think all that time spent in the back yard was beneficial.

Bryce Lance, Marshall/NDSU says “Yeah I think it definitely paid it’s dividends. Like you said, we were always in the back yard doing some type of game or workout or something. So I think that definitely helped in the long run for sure.”

Tim Polasek, NDSU Football Coach says, “He’s a great worker. He pays attention to the details extremely well and he’s an explosive guy with great size. That always helps and I think he’s a competitive spirit and you know that’s really beneficial when you start talking about taking pride in your craft. And he enjoys football. So those are the things that I think make him great.”

Polasek told me before the season even started that Bryce could be taken in the 2nd round. And he certainly did nothing to hurt his stock in the NFL Draft.
