Roefs has starred for the Black Cats this season since his summer arrival from NEC Nijmegen and has reportedly turned heads elsewhere in the Premier League, with Manchester City also linked.
It says a lot about Sunderland's summer business and their success this season that new stars have already been linked with major clubs, with Noah Sadiki having also been the subject of speculation.
But Roefs is paying little attention to the talk.
He said: "I don't know what to make of it. I don't hear anything from it from my agents. As long as I don't know anything about it, they can read or write what they want. I don't know.
“Obviously, it's a compliment, I think, if people write it about you. I'm really not into this. It's my first season in the Premier League, my first season here. I'm really enjoying every single minute of it, so I'm not thinking of anything else.
“As I say, I enjoy every minute, especially when we play at home. But also away games, the fans are just always with us. We haven't played in the stadium yet where the atmosphere has not been like this.”

Sunderland head for Bournemouth this weekend looking to get back on track after three successive Premier League defeats.
They're still 12th in the table and 11 points ahead of the relegation zone and just two points behind their next opponents. Finishing eighth this season - the place currently occupied by the Cherries - might be enough to qualify for Europe next season.
Roefs said: “We're not satisfied with just staying up. We want to be better, we want to do more.
"We don't want to think we have 36 points, maybe we're safe, which we are not sure of.
"We don't have that in our heads. We need to play ourselves into safety, we just want to win every game. For that, we need to step up.”
He added: “It's a really hard league and you see when we aren't on our best, we have seen it a few times this season, when we aren't on our best, everything can hurt us.
"This shows the level of the league, but also if we are on our best, we show that we can make it difficult for every opponent. We just need to find our rhythm back and I'm sure we will.”
Reflecting on Sunday's disappointing 3-1 home defeat to Fulham, Roefs said: "Every game we want to get the three points and I think it was there to grab, but we just weren't there in key moments.
"I think we defended pretty well. Obviously, I think it's just the set-pieces. We gave it away in key moments, the set-pieces where we give a penalty away, we give a goal away, so that's it.
"When we had the ball, we just didn't manage to keep it long enough and then when you have to run after the ball all the time, it's just difficult and we can't do it for 90 minutes. We just need to step everything up."
