The Arsenal boss hopes his side will go into the summer transfer window with some silverware behind them, and look to further strengthen his squad. However, there is a chance that several players could leave the club including Ben White.

Ben White could leave in the summer

White has been playing second fiddle to Jurrien Timber this season, but he’s still made a big impact for the Gunners. However, he was linked with a move away in January, and it is understood his future remains uncertain heading into the summer.

According to a report by TeamTalk, Arsenal could be willing to sell White if they receive a bid of around £5om, as he isn’t getting the game time he would want, and the Gunners would be willing to cash in on his current value.

If White is available, several Premier League clubs would likely be in for him, as he is a very talented, versatile and experienced defender.

Arsenal target Fresneda to replace White

If Arsenal do sell White in the summer, they will need to find a replacement for him to backup Timber, and the same report includes that the Gunners are eyeing up Sporting CP right-back Ivan Fresneda as White’s replacement.

It is understood that Man City are also targeting the 21-year-old Spaniard in the summer, as he is developing into a very talented defender.

No asking price is mentioned from Sporting CP’s side, but the Gunners may have to spend upwards of £30m to convince the Portuguese club to sell Fresneda.
