Bucks legend Marques Johnson turns heads after dunking at 70

At 70 years old, Milwaukee Bucks legend Marques Johnson can still touch the sky — sort of.

Johnson recently turned 70, and to celebrate his seven decades on Earth, he threw one down, just like he does every year.

Here is a video of the five-time NBA All-Star dunking.

Fans react to Bucks legend dunking at 70 years old

“Nahhh don’t say it’s the last one, lower the rim if necessary and dunk it at 71!,” said a fan on X.

Another one said: “We need a windmill when you hit 75 🔥”

From a commenter: “Been watching these for years. At 70 is impressive. HBD”

“Congrats Marques! You are an inspiration and we appreciate all you do for basketball and the Bucks!,” a social media user posted.

Via a different commenter: “Gotta be honest, I think you get at least 3 more years of dunks in you..”

Said another: “I think you will be able to dunk for at least another three years.”

Johnson said that his 70th birthday dunk will be his “last one,” but judging on his leaping ability at his age, it seems that he should still be able to do ig again in 2027 — and probably beyond.

In any case, it was definitely great to see him still be able to go up for a jam after all these years and decades.

Johnson played college basketball for the UCLA Bruins and won a national title with them. He turned pro in 1977, when the Bucks selected him third overall. In seven seasons with Milwaukee, he averaged 21.0 points while shooting 53.0 percent from the field. through 524 games.
