Chelsea full-back Marc Cucurella could be out for several games with a hamstring injury that he picked up against Leeds United.
The Blues are currently fifth in the Premier League table, after a disappointing 1-1 draw against Burnley over the weekend. Liam Rosenior‘s side will hope to bounce back in their next game, but it won’t be easy as they face league leaders Arsenal.
Chelsea could also be without defender Marc Cucurella, who is dealing with a hamstring injury that he suffered two weeks ago against Leeds United.
Rosenior said in his press conference last week: “I can’t give an exact timeframe on Marc. He suffered a hamstring injury just before half-time in the Leeds game. It’s a real shame because he’s an outstanding player, and one of the best left-backs in the world.”

Jamie Gittens
Winger Jamie Gittens is also ruled out heading into the Arsenal game, as he continues to recover from a hamstring injury. He has missed the last nine matches, and looks like he could miss a further month, which is a huge blow for the former Borussia Dortmund star.
Rosenior said when he suffered his injury: “That’s a real shame for him as, obviously, I’ve not worked with him for too long, but I know about his career and what an outstanding player he is. So that’s going to be a big miss for us.”

Filip Jorgensen
Goalkeeper Jorgensen has also been out for nine weeks with a knock he picked up in January. He was playing backup to Robert Sanchez, but the 23-year-old hopes to be available again soon.
As things stand, he is back in training and could be fit for the Arsenal game on Sunday, but Rosenior did say earlier in February that “he’s working really hard on his rehab.”

Dario Essugo
Young midfielder Dario Essugo suffered a knock in January, and has since been ruled out of the last 11 games. Although, it is understood that he’s expected to be available again at the weekend.
Rosenior likely won’t give the 20-year-old much of a role against Arsenal, but seeing as he is a talented youngster, he will be useful considering the fixture congestion with the Premier League, Champions League and FA Cup.
Expected return date – Sunday 1 March vs Arsenal (A)
Levi Colwill
Centre-back Colwill was initially ruled out for the remainder of the season, but the defender looks like he could return well before the end of the season.
As things stand, his ACL recovery is going very well, and he could come back into the first team before the end of the season if all goes perfectly well.
