Midfielder Maalik Hashi has signed his first professional contract with Arsenal, as confirmed by the [club](https://arsenal.com/news/maalik-hashi-signs-first-professional-contract).
The youngster, who signed scholarship terms last summer, has played twice for Arsenal’s U21 side including once as a schoolboy.
Hashi has been a regular in the U18 Premier League this season, featuring 14 times and scoring three goals.
A player with good technical ability, he also played twice for the U19s in the UEFA Youth League this season and scored for the U18s against Mansfield in the FA Youth Cup.
Hashi is the third of the 2025 scholars to sign professional after Brando Bailey-Joseph and Josiah King.
